Dr. Ambalkar’s ARC, branded as Heal Psoriasis, is a specialist Ayurvedic clinic in Vasai East, Mumbai, founded in 1952 by the late Dr. Annaji Ambalkar, a pioneer of Ayurvedic psoriasis treatment in India. It is now led by Dr. Pramod Ambalkar, Chairman and chief Ayurvedic physician. ARC focuses on psoriasis – including plaque, scalp, guttate, nail, inverse and pustular psoriasis – as well as eczema, vitiligo and lichen planus. Treatment is in-person and individualised, combining classical Ayurvedic protocols, Panchakarma and the clinic’s proprietary PSORABAN formulation, with an emphasis on long-term relief rather than symptom suppression. The clinic serves patients across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, including Borivali, Andheri, Thane, Mira Road, Virar and Nalasopara. Consultations: Mon–Sun, 10 AM–2 PM.

Late Dr. Annaji Ambalkar
Late Dr. Annaji Ambalkar founder of ARC and pioneer of the treatment of psoriasis is no more with us but he has given the perfect solution weapon to fight Psoriasis with the help of Ayurveda.
Like other ayurvedic skin specialist doctor in Mumbai serving their society, Dr. Annaji Ambalkar while performing his duty came across several people suffering from a dangerous skin disease known as Psoriasis. He witnessed these diseased people committing suicide, being outcasts by society, and the life of several families being disrupted. That was when he decided, to do something for psoriasis-diseased people. In 1952 he founded ARC and since then ARC has played a major role in the research and treatment of psoriasis in India.
